Ain’t Nothin’ Better

Our latest release Ain’t Nothin’ Better is available for purchase here in our store, and is available on Spotify, Amazon, Apple Music, anghami, Pandora, iHeart Radio, YouTube Music and other streaming platforms!

It feels like forever ago that we took a risk during a pandemic to go to the top of a Pennsylvania mountain and record the core tracks for this album with our esteemed percussionist, Jeff Shoop. We were the only three people in the hundred year old barn where we set up our studio, and yet it felt like we were risking it all just being in the same space. We captured the core vibe of this eclectic collection of songs and finished the rest of the tracks at Noisy Monk Studios in our hometown of Akron, Ohio.

Some of these songs are tunes that we wrote before life came to an abrupt halt, and some tracks were written during a challenging time for the entire world. Songs range from sweet ditties to rock, from blues to bluegrass, but they all have the common thread of that recognizable Grady Miller sound tying them all together.

We surely hope you like hearing them as much as we enjoyed creating them.

Lesson times are available!

We use a variety of platforms, and have found that lessons online offer more time per lesson spent playing than in-person instruction. And, you can take lessons with us no matter where you live.

Union Street and other merch available in our store

Union Street is the much-anticipated follow-up album by Grady Miller. This release once again showcases their varied talents and styles, with every track (except A Whiter Shade of Pale) a new composition written by either Cathy Towns Grady, Michael Grady or both. Once again, their unique and varied writing style has created an album of tracks that complement each other, yet never feel samey.

They flow freely from the rootsy folk of Union Street and Old Habits Die Hard, to blues with Cold Shoulder , their  signature “ditty” Coffee and Beer and timely protest anthem People Gonna Rise Again.  They even throw in a couple of original fiddle tunes. This record is a great representation of the diversity of music that you hear at one of their live shows!
